CPR/First Aid Certification classes will be held in January with Trainer Mark --DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED from 5:30-9:30pm.  Both CPR and First Aid (at one time) certification=$45 per person (made payable to trainer at time of class).  First Aid will be held for the first 2 hours, CPR at the end.  These classes are for current foster parents and/or new foster parents!  Please sign up by calling 667-7040 or by emailing aharder@kidscrossing.tv

Memorable 2007 Events:

August 2007

Kids Crossing's first ever FREE Back to School Carnival was held on 8/10/07 with over 600 people who attended!  Community agencies (YMCA, Ronald McDonald House, Children's Literacy Center, MADD, The Family Center, PPLD, Care & Share, etc) and businesses support (Coca Cola, Peoples Mortgage, Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS, H. David Gould Insurance -Farmer's, US Bank, St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, etc) helped make this event a great success.  FREE school supplies were distributed while supplies lasted.  Carnival games, free food, face painting, bounce houses, balloon animals--all made this event a big HIT with the kids.  Thanks to The Gazette Charities Program, KKTV & KOAA we had great media coverage! 

October 2007

Thanks to Andy Rohrback and other employees of The Gazette, our foster families had an amazing time at a Pumpkin Carving party on 10/28! Thanks to all of the people who helped make this a great time for our kids.

December 2007

"Holiday Gift Drive"-1st week of December:  All donated gifts are collected in preparation for our Holiday parties!  Our amazing donors so far include:  ITT (Thank you especially to organizer, Michelle Merritt! ), PPAR (Thank you to Linda Littlefield), Children's Chorale (Thank you to Marcia Hendricks), T-Mobile (Thank you to Catherine Miles), MCMC (Thank you to Joan Steininger), King Soopers-Unitah Gardens (Thanks to Chris Erikson), Titan's Wrestling Club (Thanks to Christine Sullivan & Coach Jay), Human Touch(Thank you to Becky), Stetson Hills Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints (Thanks to Leigh), Street Soldierz Motorcycle Club (Thanks to Vickie), Amy Hawley, Amber Eastburn, Michael and Faith Hunt, Mandie Haine, Sarah McDavid, to name just a few!!!!

We had our Foster Family Christmas Parties and Santa gave presents to all of our kids!
