BECOME A FOSTER PARENT

Will you tuck me in at night like my Mommy does?

Little girl needing a foster parentWill you?

Will YOU sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" or

read Goodnight Moon

Will YOU leave the light on for me?

Will YOU let me sleep with my bunny?

Will YOU?

When you think foster care,

think Kids Crossing...

Kids Crossing, founded in 1992 by foster parents, is a Child Placement Agency that recruits, licenses and supervises foster and foster-adopt families for children like Jenny.

We seek to not only provide safe and nurturing homes to the children we serve, but to also work closely with biological families so our foster parents know just how their children want to be "tucked in" at night.

Whenever possible, we want children to be able to go back home or be placed permanently with a special family you can give them that "one-on-one" love that we all need.

We encourage biological family involvement and through our wraparound program, effectively and efficiently facilitate reunification whenever possible.  Kids Crossing is the only foster care agency in the State of Colorado who provides these services.

Because of our passion and commitment of our foster parents, Kids Crossing has grown to become the largest child placement agency in Colorado.  Although we have many licensed foster homes, from urban, suburban or rural settings and spanning the ethnic, cultural, and racial spectrum, there are still many children like needing to be placed, in a home,

just like yours.

WE ARE SEEKING...

Kids Crossing is seeking highly committed and loving people to work with children, ages 0-18, for both short-term and long-term care.  Having past experience with in the health or human service profession is helpful, but not necessary.  Since our children are often not too happy about being removed from their homes, you must be patient, understanding, caring and willing to take some of the blame. Most of all you must be a good role model of what a healthy and happy family can be.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and exhibit stability in their lives.  All potential foster parents must be willing to work with biological parents.  Click here for the answers to some frequently asked questions or come to one of our informative monthly open houses in Colorado Springs.
